Product Review: Birchbox October 2016
Birchbox sign up link on my Twitter: https://twitter.com/meganelifestyle I have finally caught on to the idea of subscription boxes. So far I have tested Glossybox and Birchbox , but Birchbox has been my favourite out of the two. The actual box is beautifully designed and I love how it is a little drawer as well, as I did need some more makeup storage. I look forward to next month’s design!
For me, value for money is also a key thing. I managed to get reduction from UniDays, so in the end I paying about £7 for a box of products worth easily over £30 if not more.
- This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
This really does work! I have used it the past few nights and I have slept very deeply. The scent is subtle which is good as you do not want to be intoxicated as you are trying to drift off. 2. Loc Millie Bohemian Rose Lip Crayon I think the best product in the box for me! The colour is perfect and suitable for everyday wear. It is long lasting too, so you only need one or two coatings. 3. Fluoro5 Elixer Restore and Repair Oil Do not be fooled by the tiny little bottle oil. It works wonders on your hair. You can apply it wet or dry and you only need a small amount to leave hair looking healthy.
4. Trilogy Moisturiser Does the job a good moisturiser should do! Leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft. Lovely fragrance too! 5. Douxme Pure Spring Water Spray This was a whole new thing for me, but I have to say this water spray is genius. If you are rushed for time in the morning, just spray on your face to leave you with a cleansed and hydrated feeling. 6. Rituals Hamman Body Scrub Have to admit I haven’t had a chance to use this yet! I hope this has given you an honest insight into Birchbox, so that maybe you too can enjoy this monthly treat! Megan x
