March 2020 Bullet Journal Setup

Happy March everyone! Various negative events have filled the headlines recently, not to mention the weekend storms February brought us. I’m sure we all need some springtime positivity. In keeping with my previous 2020 spreads, my March 2020 bullet journal setup is focused on blogging and any extra wellbeing things that come to mind.

Theme

I feel like March is a pastel colour sort of month. The primary colours used throughout are pastel blue and purple, with little flowers as an extra embellishment, perfect for Spring.

For stationery addicts like me, the blue pen used was the Faber Castell Pitt pen in shade Sky Blue. The purple was a Crayola Super Tip (not sure if there is a colour name, but it is the lilac/grey pen).

Quote

Where would we be without Pinterest and their endless supply of motivational quotes?

Given the horrible February weather, I felt a storm quote was most appropriate as we head into March.

“Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path” – Unknown

The quote serves as a reminder that good things can still happen, even if it may not seem like it at first!

Key Dates

Even though I no longer use my bullet journal as a daily planner, I still like having a calendar overview of the month to remind myself of key dates coming up.

Blog and Social Media Planning

Now for the main purpose of the bullet journal! In March, one of my main goals is to get back on track with all things blogging and social media.

The truth is, there’s a lot of planning involved and on a daily basis, you need to make sure you have content across various social media platforms.

In addition to my usual blog post ideas and goals page, the March 2020 bullet journal also features a daily blog and social media task tracker and daily to-do list.

I’m a visual person when it comes to planning and like seeing what works and what doesn’t every month.

This is the first time I have done a tracker like this, so I will see if it goes well and whether to include it in April’s setup.

Of course, a tracker might not work for you. If so, there’s always an option of adding a reminder to-do list.

Habits to Add

Do you ever get to the end of a month and think “Oh, I could have done this” or “I should start doing this next month”?

By writing those habits down you want to include, it holds you more accountable. If by the end of the month, you realise that you haven’t done them, then you have goals to set for the next month.
