    Starting a Bullet Journal

It’s the start of a new week and a new month, so why not try something new? My poor Twitter and Instagram followers have been putting up with me spamming them with posts about my attempts at starting a bullet journal, so I thought it’s only fair I share my experience on the blog too. I’ve been tempted to start a bullet journal for quite some time, but was always put off under the belief you need to be an amazing artist, which I am most certainly not. However, after watching a fair few YouTube tutorials and reading many blogs, I decided to take the leap and have a go…

    May 2018 Favourites

I’m not typically one for the whole monthly favourites posts, mainly because I see so many out there already, and so why not do something different? Nevertheless, this month I have noticed myself using a few things quite often and decided I wanted to share.ย  e.l.f Tea Rose Matte Lip Colour Whilst I love the longevity of matte liquid lipsticks, I always the colours are way too strong for my complexion. However, my first e.l.f purchase has proved to be a success. The Tea Rose Matte Lip Colour is more subtle, ideal for everyday wear, and is just as long lasting. The pen style applicator also makes the product really…

    My Winter Favourites

Apologies for blogging being so messed up as we approach Christmas. Schedules have gone out the window in favour of random blogging when I can. I have never done a ‘favourites’ post before, so thought I would get this one in before Christmas. L’Oreal Paris Ultra Precision Eyeliner Although I only got this eyeliner yesterday, I have had my eye on it for a while. I wanted an eyeliner where the colour was strong, like a liquid eyeliner, but the application was in a pen style, as I find that easier to apply. This is the perfect combination and it did not disappoint when I used it. 2. Rimmel London…

    Christmas Decorations

Hello everybody! I am not calling this a Blogmas post, as I have decided to do Vlogmas instead. However, it is that time of year when we are getting festive and going all out on the decorations. This year in my house though, I feel that it is noticeably more subtle. Of course, we have all the usual Christmassy delights such as the tree, tinsel and lights, but there is a more sophisticated feel. We have waved goodbye to the tacky decorations that were no doubt picked out by me and my brother when we were three, and instead are sticking to the neutral tones that already fill the living…

    Claude & Co

To visit the website click here:ย https://www.claudeandco.co.uk/ (I don’t usually blog about baby shopping, but I couldn’t resist this!) If you know anyone who has just had a baby, buying a gift can be hard. Everyone always buys the same sort of thing, whether it is clothing or books. People wait until the baby is born to buy a gender specific present. For boys, it will be something blue, for girls something pink. That is what is great about Claude & Co. The shop officially opened its online doors on Saturday and it sells a variety of beautiful products for your little ones. The company does sell clothes, toys and books,…

    Northern Craft

For those who saw me tweeting about Northern Craft yesterday, well don’t worry, the blog post is now here. I’d been aware of Northern Craft for quite a while, so I was thrilled when I found out that they were having an event yesterday. The craft fair was held on the top floor of the Northern Monk Brewery Co. in the delightful Holbeck Urban Village, which I will mention later. The building itself is something to be admired with stripped back brickwork and modern touches.ย The brewery also plays host to a cool quirky bar, selling local beers. It is the perfect place to host this unique, artisan and independent event.…

    Pebble pictures

Greetings from a rainy day! Yes, the weather is terrible here, so to distract from a) the miserable rain and b) a terrible dentist appointment this morning, I will share with you a little gem that my mum and I have come across. Earlier in the summer, we visited the Foxton Locks Festival, in which we encountered the rather wonderful creations of Sadie and Sid Arts and Crafts. despite only coming back with a business card that time, we were delighted to discover that they were coming to a little event called the Pavilion Pop-Up Shop in Newtown Linford. We may have made a few purchases, but here are a…

    Uni Room Inspiration

As I am moving into university accommodation in about three weeks, I am starting to think about how I can turn my room from a blank canvas to a place that I would be proud to call home. Given my love of all things Parisian, Mica Peet and Dave Thompson, my birthday on Friday was a great way to kick off the decor ideas. Storage is an essential when it comes to uni. You have to be organised as rooms are typically quite small. Thanks to my auntie and uncle, I now have another gorgeous Parisian storage box. The suitcase style makes it extra special! My Dave Thompson collection is…
