Autumn Tag | Lifestyle

Hey everyone! The past couple of days were so busy and I didn’t manage to post this on Thursday like I usually do. The lovely Louise from Sociable Events nominated me for the Autumn Tag! As I have never done this, I thought I’d give it a go.

1. List the rules for others taking part
2. Link to the creator (LaurenAnnBeauty) and the person who nominated you
3. Answer the questions below and tag 3 more bloggers to take part (I’m nominating more because why not?!)

What is your favourite thing about Autumn?

The colours! The red and orange leaves look so pretty. I also like the temperature. Summer is too hot, and Winter is too cold, Autumn is perfect!

Are you taking part in Blogtober?

No. I’m not that organised and like my writing to be spontaneous. Whilst I do have a schedule, if I see something that inspires me, I’ll write a post and change my blog post plan. I don’t think I’d like the pressure of posting every day. Posting a couple of times a week gives me a chance to focus on social media too (although I haven’t had time these past few days!).

Favourite Autumn drink

Tea. No matter what time of year, it’s always tea. Saying that, a good hot chocolate every now and then is a lovely treat. There’s something so comforting about hot drinks.

Favourite Autumn candle

I’ve never really caught onto the candle craze to be honest. Living in uni halls for 2 years meant that I wasn’t allowed them. However, we do have a vanilla Yankee candle at home at the moment which smells amazing.

Favourite item of clothing for Autumn?

Cosy jumpers and pyjamas. What else could it be?

Do you decorate your home for Halloween or Autumn?

Not really. We did collect a few conkers and add them around the candles in the fireplace but that’s about it. My lounge colour scheme includes lots of orange, brown and copper, so that feels autumnal. With Christmas around the corner, decorations will soon appear before we know where we are!

What do you do on Halloween?

Nothing! We never celebrate Halloween in my family. I’m not one for horror and just don’t see the point in it (apologies to Halloween fans).

My nominations are:

The Roaring Bookworm
A Finn on the Loose
Amanda Diaries
Family by Choice
Parenting Phils

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for my new YouTube video going up tomorrow. Next week is Shine’s awareness week for hydrocephalus and spina bifida, so I’ll be talking about that in my video and in Monday’s blog post.
